Sara Shafiee

CEO and Founder at DivERS; Assistant professor at Technical University of Denmark

Sara Shafiee is the CEO and Founder of DivERS and Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Denmark. Sara holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and has +10 years of experience as an IT project manager and consultant in the industry and is leading the research focusing on digital manufacturing, plant simulation, and product design.

Since 2018, she has been selected as one of the “Inno-women ambassadors”, a movement initiated by Innovation Fund Denmark to bring together visible female role models to inspire young female researchers and entrepreneurs. Inspired by her experiences as a female expat in Denmark, her role as an Inno-women ambassador, and her passion for technology and diversity, she founded DivERS in 2021.

DivERS provides a data-driven technology solution to improve the quality of employment during recruitment by eliminating biases regarding gender, age, race, etc.
