Prof. Sung-Min Park
Vice President of External Affairs, POSTECH
Sung-Min Park received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University (Lafayette, IN, USA) in 2001 and 2006, respectively.
From 2006 to 2014, he was a research and development manager at Medtronic (Minneapolis, MN, USA) leading the award-winning effort to develop the world’s first MRI conditional pacemaker. He went on to serve as director at Samsung (Suwon, South Korea), leading its business strategy on healthcare-centric mobile devices and mobile health service platforms.
He joined the POSTECH faculty in 2016, belonging to Department of Convergence IT Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. He founded Curestream Inc., a startup company that develops future diabetes management solutions using AI and wearable technologies, and is currently serving as Vice President of External Affairs at POSTECH.
