So Yoon Kim holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D in Public Health from Yonsei University in South Korea. She is currently a professor of Health Law and Ethics at Yonsei University and the President of the Korean Association of Medical Law (KAML). From 2000, she has worked for the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare for 7 years and the WHO as Legal Officer, as part of her many efforts to work toward cooperation in international health and welfare. In her presentation, So Yoon will touch upon the ethical issues of bio bank in regards to the collection, management and commercial utilisation of data.
